Guild members enjoy the education, creativity and camaraderie of fellow fiber artists. In the Renaissance period in Europe, Guilds were exclusive, tight-knit (no pun intended) groups. Guild membership was tightly controlled, and was required to sell your work. Here's a link to a Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilds_of_Florence
Mesa Fiber Arts Guild supports the artistic journey of each member. We learn from each other, learn by doing, take classes, share knowledge and skill, attend festivals and workshops, and inspire each other. Learning programs are varied across the fiber arts, and we expose ourselves to new learning every month. You may find your next beloved fiber art!
